They just live.
No quests. No score. No streak to protect. Your Chumkin wanders while you do your thing. You can pick it up, watch it nap, or let it quietly be weird.
CHUMKINS
Little wobbling lives that hang out with you.
They wander around, nap, get hungry, make tiny noises and occasionally do something very strange. There is nothing to beat and nowhere to rush.
No quests. No score. No streak to protect. Your Chumkin wanders while you do your thing. You can pick it up, watch it nap, or let it quietly be weird.
Drop some food. Leave a little water. Clean up the occasional mess. Each one has its own habits, moods and favourite ways to get your attention.
Every hatch is a surprise. A Chumkin can grow old, and if it is left uncared for and dies, it stays gone. No copy. No reset. Being there matters.
Keep one nearby on your computer, or bring it over when you use another device. It is not a big mission. It is just a funny little creature that starts to feel like yours.
Try the early desktop beta and a Chumkin can hang out near the bottom of your screen while you do other things.
Try the desktop betaEvery egg mixes colour, shape, squish, speed, appetite, music love and lots of tiny habits into quadrillions of possible combinations. Most Chumkins feel comfortably familiar. Every now and then, one hatches especially tiny, sleepy, bouncy or bright.
See what makes each one differentThese are examples. An unusual Chumkin is not better—just a little less likely to meet.
No world to save. No levels to grind. Just someone small to look after and enjoy.
Meet a ChumkinSign in, use a one-time email link, or make a new account with three free eggs.
A Chumkin is a soft little companion with its own look, habits and one-way life. There are no quests or levels. You simply make a little room for it and keep it cared for.
When the shell cracks, dozens of little details come together: colour, shape, squishiness, appetite, patience, speed, music taste and more. Those details stay with that Chumkin for life.
Most Chumkins hatch with a gentle mix of everyday traits. Bigger differences happen less often, which is why an extra-tiny nap lover or a super-bouncy music fan can feel like a lucky surprise.
Every Chumkin has its own identity and belongs to one account at a time. Send one to a friend and the same little creature leaves you and arrives with them. Another copy is not made.
While awake in the world, Chumkins get hungry, thirsty and older. The Cabinet pauses everything. If one dies, it stays in the cemetery and does not come back.
Eggs, care, sharing and what happens when a tiny blob decides it is hungry.
A Chumkin is a little digital creature that sticks around. It wanders, naps, eats, drinks, dances and has odd little moments of its own. There are no levels, quests or way to win.
Each egg mixes 32 body and personality traits, plus colours and other appearance details. That creates quadrillions of possible mixes—more possibilities than stars in the sky. A combination could repeat, but each hatched Chumkin still has its own identity and one-way life.
Most traits are likely to land somewhere in the comfortable middle. Very big or very small differences happen less often. The range stays gentle, so even an unusual Chumkin still looks and moves like a Chumkin.
It means the original genome roll was farther from the usual middle. Rarity stays with that individual through later genome updates. Rare does not mean better, stronger or worth more.
Someone can copy a picture, but that does not create another real Chumkin. Your Chumkin keeps its own identity code and belongs to one account at a time.
Yes. Active Chumkins age and can die if their needs remain neglected. Death is permanent. You can also deliberately kill one, but that requires a press-and-hold confirmation. Every Chumkin who dies remains on its owner’s cemetery wall.
Each one gets hungry a little differently. A big eater may notice food early, while a patient little nibbler may wait. It still has to spot the food and wander close enough to eat it.
Nanny watches the care circles while you are away. When food, water or cleanliness falls halfway, Nanny takes care of it and keeps an ordinary absence from becoming dangerous.
The Cabinet is a safe pause. A Chumkin inside cannot come out on a device, but it also does not get older, hungry or sick. Bring it back whenever you are ready for its life to continue.
New accounts begin with three free eggs. After those, tokens purchased on the website can be spent on mystery eggs and sending envelopes. An egg reveals its Chumkin only when it hatches.
Use one sending envelope and enter your friend’s account email. Your Chumkin leaves through the portal, waits for them to accept, and then arrives in their world. It moves to them; another one is not made.
No. A Chumkin can hang out in only one place at a time. Open My Chumkins, choose it, and summon it to the device in your hand. It leaves the old place and comes through the portal in the new one.
Yes. Several Chumkins can share the same room. They may pass in front of one another, bump when they meet on the same path, and occasionally get into something together.
Eggs, token bundles, envelopes and Nanny are handled on chumkins.com. The companion apps stay focused on feeding, playing and spending time together.
Coins buy little things for your room: accessories, toys and decorations. Tokens can become coins, but coins cannot turn back into tokens. Dress a Chumkin, leave out a toy, or arrange the room your way.
No. The Room can follow your clock, a city you type, or a time you choose. Weather is optional. Your phone or computer asks before sharing its location, and the choice stays on that device.
Yes. Turn on Listen to this room in Room Settings and allow microphone access. The Windows desktop beta can instead use This computer’s audio to hear music playing through the computer, including headphones. Chumkins analyses only rhythm and volume on your device; it does not record or upload the audio.
If something is wrong with your account, a payment or one of your Chumkins, send us an email. Include your account email and the Chumkin’s code if you have it.
Never send your password, payment card details or private sign-in links by email.

These are early direct downloads, so Windows or Android may ask you to confirm that you trust the file before installing it.
Effective August 1, 2026. These rules apply to chumkins.com, your account and the Chumkins apps.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are below the age of majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and approve these Terms for you. Chumkins is not currently configured to create accounts for children under 13.
Use accurate account information, protect your password and private sign-in links, and tell us promptly if you believe somebody accessed your account. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law says otherwise.
Every egg reveals a randomly generated Chumkin built from 32 body and personality traits, plus additional appearance details. Everyday trait values are more common and large differences are less common. No particular look, trait, rarity or result is promised. An uncommon trait does not mean better, stronger or more valuable.
Active Chumkins age and their needs change. A Chumkin may permanently die through neglect or a confirmed kill action. Cabinet storage pauses age and needs while the Chumkin remains stored. Chumkin Nanny is designed to provide automated care while active, but temporary outages or circumstances beyond reasonable control may still occur.
Chum Tokens, coins, eggs, envelopes, inventory items and subscriptions are digital service items. Tokens may be converted into coins at the displayed rate; coins cannot be converted back into tokens. Neither currency is money, cryptocurrency, an investment or redeemable for cash. Prices are shown in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed by Stripe. Refunds and cancellations are handled according to the purchase terms shown at checkout and any mandatory rights under the laws that apply to you.
A completed send moves that Chumkin to the recipient’s account. It does not create a copy. Do not send one unless you mean to give that individual to the other person.
Do not interfere with the service, send abusive automated requests, bypass payment or ownership controls, try to uncover hidden generation data, impersonate somebody else, use unlawful names or content, or use Chumkins to harm, harass or deceive others.
We give you a limited, personal, revocable right to use Chumkins and its companion applications. Chumkins software, branding and artwork remain ours or our licensors’. Owning a Chumkin record does not transfer copyright, trademarks or the right to commercially reproduce its artwork.
We may maintain, update, secure or discontinue parts of the service. We may restrict an account that violates these Terms, threatens the service or creates legal risk. Where practical, we will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to address the issue.
Chumkins is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not promise uninterrupted operation or that every software defect will be corrected. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded. Our responsibility is limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
We may update these Terms as Chumkins changes. If an update materially affects your rights, we will provide reasonable notice and request renewed acceptance when appropriate. Questions can be sent to support@chumkins.com.
Effective August 1, 2026. This policy explains what information Chumkins uses across the website and apps.
We keep your display name, email address, a protected version of your password, the date you accepted our rules, support messages and details you enter when sending a Chumkin. We never keep your readable password.
We keep your balances, purchases, items, subscription, Chumkins, care levels, transfers and Cabinet or cemetery status. This lets the same account and little lives follow you safely between devices.
When you connect, we may receive your IP address, request time, browser or device details, security events and login-cookie identifier. We use these details to run, protect and fix the service. We do not currently use advertising trackers that follow your behaviour.
If you explicitly start an audio source, your device asks for permission and analyses the live sound locally so Chumkins can react to its rhythm. The Windows desktop beta can listen to computer playback; Chromium briefly requests a display stream for this, but Chumkins immediately discards its video track and uses only audio levels. Chumkins does not record, store or upload captured audio. Listening stops when you turn it off, sign out or quit the app; in the desktop beta it can continue while the control window is hidden in the tray.
We use this information to create and protect accounts, send sign-in links, keep each Chumkin in the right place, handle sending and purchases, answer support questions, prevent abuse, follow the law and keep Chumkins working reliably.
Stripe processes payments and receives the information needed to complete them; Chumkins does not receive or store your complete card number. SpaceMail delivers account email. If you enable weather, Open-Meteo receives coordinates or the city search needed to return local conditions. Hosting and infrastructure providers process limited information as needed to run the service. These providers handle information under their own terms and privacy commitments.
We share information with service providers only as needed to operate Chumkins, with another user when you initiate a Chumkin transfer, when you ask us to share it, or when disclosure is reasonably necessary for legal, safety or security reasons. We do not sell personal information.
Chumkins uses one required, protected login cookie so you can stay signed in. “Remember me” keeps it longer; otherwise it normally ends when the browser closes. Your device also remembers choices such as music, sound-reaction sensitivity, your selected Chumkin, room time, optional location or city, and recent weather. Those room choices are not added to your account.
We retain account and Chumkin information while your account is active and for a reasonable period needed for security, disputes, backups, fraud prevention and legal obligations. Payment records may be retained longer where required. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably needed.
You may ask to access, correct or delete personal information, withdraw consent where applicable, or close your account by contacting us. Some records may be retained when required for legal, security or transaction-integrity reasons. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Accounts are intended for people age 13 and older. A minor who is old enough to use Chumkins but is not an adult where they live should have a parent or guardian review the service and this policy. If you believe we collected information from a child under 13, contact us so we can investigate and delete it as appropriate.
We use access controls, encrypted connections, password hashing and other safeguards designed to protect information. No system can guarantee absolute security. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own, where different laws may apply.
We may update this policy when our practices change. Material changes will receive reasonable notice. Privacy questions or requests can be sent to support@chumkins.com.
Your Chumkins are safe. Check your connection and try again.
